Catch 22 Event

Catch 22 Event

PC Gibbon and I recently had the pleasure of attending a community event with Catch22 at Woodbank. Catch22 is a charity that works with young people and communities, providing support, opportunities and positive activities to help them reach their full potential.

It was a fantastic afternoon, giving us the opportunity to engage with local children and young people. We answered lots of questions about policing, and build positive relationships within the community. We enjoyed speaking with everyone about our role and helping to give an insight into the work we do.

The children took part in a range of activities, including making pizzas and painting pumpkins, creating a fun and welcoming atmosphere for all involved. One of the highlights of the day was giving the children a chance to look around the police vehicle, where they were able to learn more about the equipment we carry and ask plenty of interesting questions.

Thank you to Catch22 for inviting us along and for organising such a great event. We look forward to continuing to work together to support and engage with our local communities.
